Athens shibari presented the “Rope Circus – siamese twin show” at Lab Underground bar (Loukoumi#10) at the 25th of November. Maya Homerton and Glü Wür present their famous “The Siamese Twin Show”, a performance with kinky and freaky aesthetics intertwined. Bound together having one girl tying up the other, their show’s climax will be an impressive double self suspension. MissLefu and Melissanthe, being their very first time on the stage presenting their unique style, which is based on semenawa, meaning “rope for pain”. The two girls know how to continually find new ways to push the limits of their bodies through difficult and painful predicaments and by using rope both as a means of restriction and torture. WisDomme and Psychopsis with their secret sauce recipe, have put the finishing touches. Their emphasis – as always – is on shibari’s artistic visuals. Their purpose is to give life to images, movements and sentiments by using rope and highlighting shibari’s erotic and artistic nature. All photos by Manos Chrisovergis. Lights by Alexandros Politakis
