March is over and, as usual, here’s some stuff that I listened through it.

After their demo, the Athenians return with their first full length work, a bratty sludge album in the vein of eyehategod.

Heavy and dark sludge, most appropriate for the humid basements where it’s usually performed. That’s the second full album for the elephants from Athens.

Their one of a kind mold of indie, emo and hardcore punk accompanied by the narrating singing of Jordan Dreyer continue to evolve in this one. There’s an interesting approach in the sound mix by pushing back the vocals a little being infused into the whole thus giving an unbeatable feeling of emotional asphyxia.

Occult, blackened & crusty rock’n’roll is the sentence that describes best their debut for Relapse.

- Discordance / Bonefire / Chikara / Acrataka / Sardanapalm Death / Crable – 6-way Split
International hardcore punk 6-way split that won’t let your attention slide.

The band from Belgium returns after “Burst” more evolved in their alternative approach of hardcore punk that will please fans of indie, post-rock, hardcore punk, metal, etc.

Deeply political blackened crust from Germany.

This is the first endeavor by the trio from Tyrnavos. Melodic crust by one half of Dyspnea (rip).

20 songs of blasting French grind. It was recently released on vinyl, while also recently they were playing some shows here in Greece.
